Is the honeymoon fund registry free?
Yes — setting up the registry is free. Stripe's standard processing fee (1.4–2.9% depending on the card) applies to each contribution. We don't add a markup on top. Some platforms take an additional 5%; we don't.
Where does the money go?
Directly to your bank account, via Stripe. We never hold your guests' money. The contribution flows from the guest's card to your Stripe account to your bank within a few business days — the standard Stripe payout schedule.
How do guests contribute?
They visit your wedding website's registry page, pick an experience (or contribute to the global fund), choose an amount, and pay through Stripe Checkout. Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard, Amex are all supported. The flow takes under 30 seconds.
Can guests contribute toward a single experience together?
Yes. Each experience can be partially funded by multiple guests — the progress bar fills as people chip in. A $400 dinner can be funded as 8 friends gifting $50 each. It becomes a collective gift.
What if I just want a single honeymoon fund?
Set up a single line called "Honeymoon" with a global target (or no target). All contributions flow into one fund. Simpler setup, same Stripe flow, same thank-you tools.
Can I mix the honeymoon fund with a traditional gift registry?
Yes. Honeymoon experiences and traditional gifts (kitchen, home, decor) live side by side on the same registry page. Some guests prefer experiences, others prefer objects — you cater to both.
How do I thank guests for their contribution?
Every contribution appears in your Gifts dashboard with the guest's name and a personal message. Click "Send thank-you" to send a personalised, branded email through Resend in one click — or write your own.
Is the registry secure for my guests?
Yes. All contributions go through Stripe, the same payment platform used by Apple, Amazon and Shopify. PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant. 3D Secure on every transaction. We never see or store guest card details.
Can guests gift anonymously?
Yes — guests can tick "Display anonymously" at checkout. Their name still appears in your dashboard (so you can thank them privately) but won't be displayed on any public list.
What currencies do you support?
All Stripe-supported currencies, including EUR, USD, GBP, AED, CHF, JPY, AUD, CAD and more. Pick your default; guests pay in your currency or their card's currency depending on Stripe's conversion settings.
